W1S Wakai Root Canal Spreader is a single end endodontic instrument and used to compact filling material (gutta-percha) during lateral condensation. The working ends have pointed tips with specific diameters measured at 1 mm (D1) and 16 mm (D16) from the tip to correspond to the size of the canal.
